Book List

At Kristina Academy we have four book lists. One is a list of readings students will complete as part of the history one class. The other three lists are group class book lists.

Each year all students will participate in group discussions once per block on a book chosen by Kristina Academy. The list of chosen books changes each year in a three-year rotation. These books have been carefully selected to introduce students to great and influential authors. The discussion books have been chosen so that most scholars will be able to read and comprehend them, but will are still deep enough to stimulate great discussions for all levels of student.

Students will also read at least one book of their choice each block. As students become more advanced, they will be encouraged to choose more difficult books for their personal study. This insures that students retain control over most of their education, and are able to push themselves.
